War is a terrible happening
On November 19th 2005, in the small town of Haditha, Iraq, 24 civilians were killed. That is all that is truly known about the incident, we don’t know if they were innocent, so we don’t know if they posed a threat to our Marines. The news media always wanting to be explosive and opinionated have already rushed to judgment and in their reporting convicted the Marines of a crime. The truth is yet to be told.
With everyone wanting fairness and justice, do we need to remind the news media that in America it is the belief that one is innocent until proven guilty?
